Happy with my leather gloves

I grabbed a pair of the goatskin leather gloves, you know, for working in the yard and stuff. They got here pretty quick, maybe four days? The leather feels nice and soft, not stiff like some other brands I've tried. They fit my hands well, true to size. I've used them a few times already for pruning and moving some rocks, and they're holding up great. No complaints, really. I liked that they felt comfortable right away, no break-in period needed.

Solid cut resistant gloves

Ordered a pair of cut resistant gloves, Dyneema, for some shop work. The ordering process was straightforward on their site. Shipping took 5 days to reach Denver, which was reasonable. The gloves themselves felt high quality and offered good dexterity for a protective glove. Customer support wasn't needed, but the product arrived as described. They've held up well through a few projects so far. Definitely a good option for safety gear.

Best mechanic gloves!

I picked up a pair of the mechanic gloves and they are fantastic! The fit is perfect, and I can actually feel what I'm doing while wearing them, which is huge for precision work. They're super durable and have saved my hands a bunch of times already. I'm definitely coming back for more when these eventually wear out. I'm telling all my buddies at the garage about NWP gloves!

What's the deal with sizing? Is it pretty standard or do they run small/large? Need to get some for my whole crew.

A Andre R. 2 months ago
They have a size chart on their site that's pretty accurate. I measured my hand and it lined up fine with the gloves I got.

I'd say they're true to size mostly. If you're buying for a crew, definitely tell them to check the chart, especially for the more fitted styles like the nitrile coated ones.

Hey, I'm thinking about getting some of the cut-resistant gloves for a new project. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Seattle?

S Steve 2 months ago
Mine took like 4-5 days to get to Phoenix, so Seattle might be similar. They use standard ground shipping usually.

Yeah, I ordered a few times to California and it's generally been within a week, maybe 5 business days on average. Just depends on when you order I guess.

Anyone know if NWP gloves are legit? Never heard of them before but the prices look decent for the specs.

D David 2 months ago
Yep, totally legit. Been buying from them for a couple years for my construction business. Never had an issue.

Yeah they're real. Been around for a bit. My company uses their chemical resistant gloves regularly.

Are NWP gloves any good compared to Mechanix Wear? I've always used Mechanix but NWP seems to have more options for specific tasks.

T Tom Okafor 2 months ago
Totally different vibe. Mechanix are good all-rounders, but NWP has way more specialized stuff. If you need something super specific like for glass handling or really heavy duty cut protection, NWP usually has a better fit.

I switched from Ironclad to NWP for my welding gloves and haven't looked back. They feel more durable for industrial use IMO. Mechanix are comfy but maybe not for super heavy work constantly.

They usually have something for signing up for emails. Check their homepage or just try to sign up for the newsletter, it usually pops up there.
